| Dr.
O. A. Cleveland
is a Professor Emeritus at Mississippi State. He received
his B.S. and M.S. degrees at Mississippi State University
and his Ph.D. in Economics from Oklahoma State University.
He formerly worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture
as an agricultural economist, was an intern assistant
to the President of the New York Cotton Exchange, and
Vice President-Senior Analyst with Merrill Lynch Research
in New York.
Dr. Cleveland
served on the Board of Directors of the New York Cotton
Exchange and received the Cotton Foundation's Education
award. He is the author of over 800 professional journal
articles, publications, monographs, and columns relating
to commodity futures, agricultural price analysis and
marketing. He writes a cotton market advisory newsletter
