Mr.
Tao Chen graduated
from English Dept of Heilongjiang University in 1978.
He obtained MBA degree from Memphis State University
in 1990, major in International business.
He joined Allenberg Cotton Co. in 1990 and was appointed
vice president of Allenberg in 1997. For more than a
decade, he has played an active role in world cotton
activities and contributed a great deal to China cotton
business, import and export. He has been involved in
a few record deals with China in volume and value in
world cotton history.
In year of 2000, Mr. Chen joined Louis Dreyfus, parent
company of Allenberg and has been in charge of Louis
Dreyfus China operation till now. China is the key arena
of world agricultural commodity trading today. Under
Mr. Chen's leadership, Louis Dreyfus' business with
China reached 1.6 billion U.S. dollars annually. In
five years' time, Mr. Chen has delivered over 90 speeches
in both national and international conferences and seminars.
He has successfully introduced premium trading for China
market. The new trading method has greatly reduced risks
for buyers and sellers, which is applied to over 95%
of today's bean business. |
