China
National Cotton Information Center--In order to
construct the National Cotton Market Monitoring System
(NCMMS), enhance the macroeconomic control of the
government and provide quality information service for
the cotton market, China National Cotton Reserves
Corporation (CNCRC) specially sets up a wholly owned
corporate body--China National Cotton Information Center
(CNCIC), which was officially registered at the State
Administration of Industry & Commerce in January
2004. The main task of CNCIC is to construct, operate
and maintain NCMMS, to make CNCotton into an influential
professional portal website in the world, to provide
cotton market information for the government, and to
offer quality information service and technical support
for cotton and textile industry.
National
Cotton Market Monitoring System--As one of the
E-Government projects, the National Cotton Market
Monitoring System (NCMMS) is an information monitoring,
publishing and early-warning system specially approved
by the government. Constructed and operated by CNCIC,
NCMMS aims to trace the cotton market closely at home
and abroad, reflect supply and demand situation
accurately, provide reliable information support for the
government to make macroeconomic control, help
enterprises surf the market, guide domestic cotton
production and consumption correctly, accelerate the
reform of domestic cotton logistics, and promote the
healthy development of Chinese cotton industry.
